THE LONDON WINE FAIR

Will you be in London from the 2nd of June to the 4th of June and you’ve got a business related to wine? Would you like to expand your business or do networking? If the answer is yes, you’d probably like to visit The 34th London Wine Fair in Kensington Olympia, in London. It’s just a trade fair. It’s a really great opportunity for your company. The fair will be open the 2nd of June from 10.30am to 6.30pm, the 3rd of June from 9.30am to 6pm and the 4th of June from 9.30am to 5pm. There will by over 500 exhibitors, including worldwide wine producers, distributors, importers. In the fair you’ll find wine seminars, tastings, parties, master classes, wine information and many other activities that a wine lover will love as well. You should take into account is that nobody under 18 is allowed to visit the fair, including children and babies.

VOLEU FER UN REGAL ECONÒMIC A UN AMIC ESNOB? BATURRICA GRAN RESERVA

Heu de fer un regal a una persona esnob i teniu un baix pressupost? De nou, als supermercats LIDL (que consti que no tinc accions de LIDL) hi teniu la solució. Si a la persona esnob li agrada el vi ja veureu com li encantarà un vi on a l’etiqueta hi posi “Gran Reserva” i a sobre de l’any 2007, amb tap de suro i embolicat amb la reixa de plàstic. N’estic segur que el trobarà boníssim. A part de ser un excel·lent regal pels esnobs també pot ser un bon regal per quan vas a l’estranger i vols quedar bé amb les persones que vas a veure, ja que el LIDL està a tot arreu i aquest vi és de Tarragona. Per tant, a part de fer un bon regal, estaràs regalant un producte de la terra. I a sobre, per un molt bon preu i que almenys, jo el trobo molt bo.  Sí ho sé, zona una mica fantasmada, però us asseguro que és un regal que funciona molt bé. També us el podeu comprar per vosaltres mateixos. I si teniu més diners, n’estic segur que millors vins podeu trobar. Però qualitat preu, està molt però que molt bé.

Estic parlant del vi negre Baturrica Gran Reserva 2007, amb denominació d’origen de Tarragona. Ara mateix al Regne Unit es pot trobar per 3,99 lliures esterlines. I m’imagino que a la resta d’Europa també per un preu similar. És un vi que es ven en exclusiva als supermercats LIDL.  Ampolla de vi amb una presentació excel·lent, amb una etiqueta on es recalca que és gran reserva del 2007, amb un bon preu, català i no és pas dolent. No es pot demanar més.

Baturrica Gran Reserva 2007 és un vi amb molt d’equilibri, amb bastant intensitat aromàtica i deixa un agradable regust. El seu color s’assembla al de la cirera, té una lleugera olor a torrat i a fruita madura i en boca és molt gustós. És una barreja d’ull de llebre i Cavernet Sauvignon i és recomana servir a una temperatura entre 14 i 16⁰C.  Aquest Gran Reserva ha estat 24 mesos en bótes de roure i té una maduració de 36 mesos en ampolla. Espero que us agradi  i que friseu d'aquest vi tant o més com he fet jo.
